no armor/ no weapons

Could a character relying on unarmored and hand-to-hand ever become powerful? A hero kicking butt with nothing but his fists seems like a fun, yet almost unplayable game.

Yes, it is possible. In fact, the only character ive ever beaten the entire game with, every faction and all 3 expansions with was an unarmoured fist fighter.

Hand-to-hand does good fatigue damage. Of course, nothing beats levitating and blasting the hell out of a hand-to-hand fighter. ;)

No, unless he uses spells he CANNOT be powerfull

it takes forever to kill a rat let alone a person

trust me on this i have tried many times

only if u get his hand to hand to 1000 will it be good.

unarmored is great either way :D

i personally use unarmored and a sword

What determines how much damage you do to fatige. Is it strength? Just like strength determines how much melee damage you do to health? And once they're unconsious do you really do that much damage?

Not too sure. i know that H2H is governed by Speed, but I assume 1. Speed only determines how fast you punch, 2. The amount of damage is controlled by strength and 3. The amount of damage you do while they are on the ground depends on your Strength or Hand-to-Hand. someone that knows more about the mechanics of the game could probably tell you more, not just educated guesses.

Yea, that was my guess. But I think the game would get boring anyway with unarmored and hand-to-hand. You'd never really use new armor or new weapons.

Well, with a minor tweak in the Construction Set changing the fatigue value drained by H2H. I think i balanced it fairly nicely.

There's some mod that places some unarmed, unarmored fighters in strategic places at 1st level--Morrowind Advanced, I think. In any case, they are extremely dangerous to low level PCs, knocking down players very quickly, emptying fatigue, and then doing killing damage. I died a couple of times at that point.

strength has nothing to do with how much damage u do, unfortunatly.
