The true path! Big spoilers!!!
Please highlight to read: Ok so I just completed the game on lightside and dark side and I was wondering what path you guys really beleave in, not what your favorite path is, but the one you beleav in. For example on the lightside you spend the game being nice to everyone and saying sorry to the jedi council to make up for your past mistake of following reven. When you get to the jedi enclave and speak with the jedi on dantooine they still decide to punish you and strip you of the force even though you have helped them and evrything else you did that was good. The jedi have no hart and I hate them. They do nothing but preech and say they help people, but yet they would not help in the mandalorian wars. It's no wonder reven, malak and your charecter run off to help. I beleve In the darkside. The force is a gift and should be used like it, yet the jedi insist on only using it as a last resort. What path do you guys beleave In.
Rock on, Rock hard & don't look back!!!

I think Jolee Bindo is the only one who kid of nailed it. With his hidsight he is able to see which actions hold meaning and which are meaningless.
For instance, The jedi council refused to help the republic fight the mandalorians. The reason for this is still unknown. It seems that you never get a straight answer out of them. I suspect that they were afraid of losing jedi to the other side. Unfortunately they did not take into account the fact that in a war that effects such a large area, there will always be casualties. By refusing to go to war they ended up having more casualties than ever.
On the other hand, the sith lords are not exactly nailing it either. In KOTOR 2 you've got Sion, with his obsession with power and strength, obviously this guy needs some serious couseling. Then there is Nihilus, a sith lord so obsessed with the force that he hungers for it and can see nothing but the force. Finally, there is traya, she has this annoying problem of hating the force and yet she uses it as though she were a slave to it. clearly her old age has made her stubborn and senile...
So you see, it is in the gray area where I lie and it is only those gray jedi who can take comfort in the knowledge that they are not all powerful and may make mistakes. Only a gray jedi can be confident that his or her actions are not the will of the force, but their own will.

In real life I am probably a bit down to the light side, though my ideals actually preach light side (it is a hard thing to believe in something and actually follow that ideal, society brought me up to be a good person, and it is hard to act otherwise).
In the game, I prefer downright evil or rather, Kreia's point of view. I strongly believe in "the purpose of all life is to end". I was really frustrated when Kreia said she wanted to destroy the Force and I couldn't tell her that was my purpose as well.

Walk among them... these beasts that are less than you are. See their strength, see how easily you fall to their muscle and skill. Why do you stand for this, why do you submit to the flesh when death is bred in your bones?
