ebony scimitar?

I read that the ebony scimitar is the best weapon to enchant, but i haven't been able to locate it myself. does anyone know if this weapon exists, and if so, where can it be found? any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

That weapon can only be obtain that weapon in TES3 expension called Tribunal.

And even at that it really is very hard to get unless your character is a very high level, bloody high ordinatures.

they are easy 2 kill

I admit that.. but that depends.. if you are 150 feet/10 m on air and use bow/spell. Then mostly players are on level 70 with those kill in one blow weapons.

But normally those things are hard to kill.

i used a daedric claymore , it killed him in about 2 hit, and i was only level 30

hmm, that daedric claymore sounds pretty cool, is there a specific place to get that, or is it a random spawn off of one of the daedric lords? i also forgot to mention that i play on xbox, but have tribunal, so hopefully the ebony scimitar is still in the game for xbox.

Warriors.. those with heavy hitting weapon and good armor rating will survive.

sorry but the ebony staff is better for enchanting
scimitar's enchant is 80
the stass's is 90

however the staff does 3-16 as best damage
and the scimitar does 1-43 as best damage

Yes the ebony scimitar is still in the game on xbox. It can be found on the body of any High Ordinator

Got It!!

WOOT! After running around the sewers under Mournhold forever, i finally got into the town area and found one of those High Ordinators (Well actually, they found me

. Several attacked me at the same time, and put a real good beating on me. I finally was able to pull just a single one, and it took forever (at level 36 and it was a good fight) but i was able to defeat him and get the ebony scimitar!! Now the hard part, figuring out what spells and effects i want to enchant it with to get the best bang out of it

Any suggestions?? Thanks everyone for the help!!

I fought off three at level 15. I had Truflame, THWACK! one hit kill

wow, that is one wicked sword! i was using the sword of white woe, with an armor rating of about 70 (all my armor was really damaged when i got to the ordinators), and about 250 health. Three at one time wasted me in a few seconds. When i fought just one, the battle still lasted about 2 mins.

Do a bunch of quests of Alamexia in Mournhold and you will get it. Hopefully you have the expansion and then it will be no problem!
