hello
i am new here
but i played BG for a long time

but i noticed something

i was playing BG today
and i came to the cloakwoods
and i was doing the quest to find that brother who
was afther those spider's
i forgot his name

i came to that building
and then i had that talk with centeol
and he attacked me
he kept firing magic missiles at me
he did not stop shooting them
is that normal

Yes, that is normal. The fights I have had with Centeol usually have her (Centeol is the Queen of the Spiders) zapping various party members with Magic Missile and other spells. Just engage her in melee, she isn't a very tough combatant.

Centeol has a lot of spells to throw your way, so don't let her use them! Confront her in melee like TGHO suggested and you shouldn't have any problems. I always try to kill her off first, or just after the sword spiders go down, since they seem to damage me a lot more than the magic missiles every seem to.

I've played thru many times, and every time , she just sits there like the fat blob that she is.nope, no magic.no movement. in fact, the only way she can do any damage is if you accidentally stand next to her and leave the room or something. you forget to pause while you eat your peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.
did you ever notice she looks exactly like "pearl" in the movie blade?

i never had her attack me so that is why i asked it here

i defeated her with some heavy melee attacking
