So I took the boat, and I took over from my avatar. Because Modtown is really more about experienced mods having fun, showing off what they can do with modding, and some of them do it very creatively, indeed. A lot of the imagination is frankly visual, but there are some delightful exceptions. There's even a house that talks. Check out the mod--which I'm pretty sure is still available at Morrowind Summit. Well worth a look.

Modtown 2004
My character was minding her own business, threatening a pirate contact (per the mod, Booty Island), when suddenly I happened upon a boat to Modtown. I'd forgotten I'd installed the mod. That's what I like to do with quest mods: install-and-forget. That way, when you happen upon an anomaly, it's a pleasant surprise. And at my age, you need all the pleasant surprises you can get.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
