Yeah i am still here. Working now. I will fill everybody in on what i am doing once i figure it out myself. I am at the UN presently. I am gonna e-mail you as soon as i have my life in order

Are you working at the UN? And if so, will you still be there in mid-April? We're taking about a week around the 18th to stay with a relative in Brooklyn, and wander around the city committing unspeakable crimes.

Inshallah i will. I am working for the Pakistani Mission to the UN right now. I am there daily from 8 to 8. So any time is fine with me

Great. I'll be in touch as we get closer to that time, but if you're living closer to Philly, we can still get together there, sooner. It's a lot closer to us, sort of like a giant sleeping tablet on the horizon.

Well, we are in the midst of a cold snap here. It has been snowing for the past few days, although it only really settled last night. Not enough for a decent snowball fight or making snowmen though.

That can always be fun.

Here, we finally got our sunny day, but temperatures aren't expected to top 40 Fahrenheit. With several more days like that, it's going to be slow going to get rid of the snow.

The downside is usually that the entire public transport network falls to pieces when the temperatures dip below 10C.

Fortunately they seem more prepared than they were when this happened last year, and it hasn't been so bad.

I am an intern presently at the Paki mission. I work on the second committee of ECOSOC. I basically work with trade and development issues. I am on the team with just my ambassador and another officer. Pakistan presently has the presidency of ECOSOC, so the three of US have to attend every ECOSOC meeting in the day. That usually entails meetings from 9 am to 7 pm non-stop and then we do the typing and reporting and usual embassy work from 7 to 10. Well they do. I get home by then and work till 12 or 1. And get up at 6/.

The other day it was raining like heck. My mom had to drive me to school, because I didn't want to walk to my bus stop in the thunder and rain. Normally it takes only about 10, 15 minutes to get to school, depending on traffic. But that day it took like, 40 minutes to get to school. In fact, it had been raining for only half an hour or so before some of the streets started flooding.
