And whats so important about the holocron on Korriban?

Nope, but you eventually end up with enough lightsabers as you go through the game. The trick is to know when to save your game. That way you can reload when you get a saber type that you don't want.

It kinda sucked... I did Nar Shaddaa first, and when I finally got all the saber parts to create one, I had just found a lightsaber in the Hutt's stash.

Which planets have you been to yet? Regardless, if you go to Dantooine, you'll get all the parts you need (even before you have to finish that planet).

Nar Shaddaa is a good choice for a first planet, I believe. Don't save Onderon for the last or you might get problems. Korriban has virtually no influence, nor many quests so that's best saved for 4th.

Nar Shaddarr first, you can easily get all your LS parts working and a second LS in the hutts tomb before you even get to the yahct.
Dxun/Onderon and Dantooine next (but could easily do it the other way round too)
Definately Korriban last, it's borring and doesn't lead anywhere important.

Dantooine: got all the parts I need, plus several useful crystals, and one that's essential.

Well instead of finding more fixtures, you should be able to craft them (perhaps after finding your first ones).

First time through I completed my lightsaber at the end of the first run through Dxun (before Onderon). Kind of annoyed me because I defeated Visas and got one anyway as I was about to talk to Bao-Dur.

Second run through now (currently at Telos), going to go to Nar-Shaddaa first (Mira, Atton's story, and light-saber), followed by Dantooine (crystal-cave), Dxun/Onderon, and Korriban to finish.

The staff light sabers are called double bladed lightsabers. You can tell Bao Dur to make one (when you construct your first light saber, he asks what kind of a saber you want, you can say double bladed and he'll craft you one).

Other than that, there's no guarantee. There are some chests that can spawn light sabers (but it is random treasure), some people that give you lightsabers (but they are random) and some quests that when completed, give you lightsabers (but they are random, see the problem we're having here?)

You can buy some from the salvage seller on Dantooine or the Black Market dealer on Telos.

It's the right-hand guy in the shop with the two Duros, the first one being 'legal', selling pazaak cards, medpacks and parts and the second one being the Black Market dealer.

Exactly at which point of the game are you? I assume you are still on Telos and were recently under house arrest, right?

Did you make your pick between Czerka and those hobo queer aliens? Did you do the recover the droid quest?

OK more questions than that and I'll start spoiling... Tell me where you are so I can give you leads.

OK, so you did find the modified blaster and start the blackmarket quest. I can spoil you since you've given me leave (still the text is shrouded in black):

Remember the two Duros merchant brothers back on Telos? The ones that fight with each other when you try buying from them for the first time? Their shop is near the cantina if you can't remember. Anyway, one of them can give you more information about the blaster and the black market operations on Telos.

BTW, don't worry, you'll get a chance to revisit Telos once you progress a little more, so you can still complete that quest.
