edit biography? xyx's guide? party scripts?

Hi, I'm new on this forum. I have a few questions

1. how can i edit my main character's biography from OUTSIDE the game - in which file exactly is the biography saved? I searched in vain...

2. I can't acces xyx's yahoo group, where the fabled xyx's spell guide is supposed to be. I applied for membership-got no answer. Is there any other way I can get my hands on that guide?

3. I want some improved AI scripts for the party - I found some links on the forum but they don't work - Does anyone know some that work?

about first question

Well, I know answer to only first question, because I wanted to edit biography of my chracter too. Here is it: go to the folder "Characters", open the file "*.bio" (for example "fighter.bio") with notepad, and voila.
About other questions: maybe other members of this forum will know the answers. I don't know them, sorry

2. Apparently Xyx's site is offline. Perhaps you can ask UserUnfriendly to get some more information (if I'm not mistaken, his cheese guide was also stored on that webspace).

3. You might want to check the script mods at http://modlist.pocketplane.net. They have some fairly good BG2 scripts there.
