Help! Battle with Atris... Can't seem to do it!!

OK, I've been playing KOTOR2 since I got it about a week and a half ago (PC), and I absolutely love it! I also just bought Republic Commando (also PC) and am in the process of kicking ass in that as well. However, I have run into a slight problem. I cannot seem to even battle Atris, even though I'm where I'm supposed to be, in the right situation. Below is what happens\happened:

1.) I offered the Handmaiden to teach her some Jedi shtuff, and was then interrupted by Kreia saying "::Betrayal::".

2.) I was then transported to Telos, the secret Jedi Academy, and originally had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do. I then came to here (GameBanshee) and then saw that I was transported there to battle Atris.

3.) I looked around at EVERYTHING, in each and every room, and even wasted some Mines trying to get things to progress. I tried bording the Ebon Hawk, but can't. I go up to the Meditation Chamber, and it is "Locked, and there is no apparent means to open it". I go to the elevator, and it too is "Locked".

My question is, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!!! I have gone through EVERY SINGLE ROOM in the Academy, looking for something, and have found nill. Please help, as this is essential to completing the game, and I want to do so.

sounds like you experienced a wonderful bug. I've had something similar happen to me, and the only thing you can do is revert to your last save.

Common bug. Reload, try again: that's the developer's advice, until they get out their patch. Eventually, the problem will be bypassed.

Well, I have tried what you said, about reloading my save game and doing it again. I tried about 12 times, even trying to say different things to the Handmaiden to try and hopefully get things going. However, I STILL have had no success. Is there any other way I can get past this bug and battle Atris, to continue with the game, or am I just SOL until a patch is released?
