Apparently just got it's version 13 out. Anybody tried this, to see whether it works well?

Yes, it is good. 
The ioun stone animation component is one I'd be tempted to leave out in future as I don't like the graphics too much. I believe Sim is working on making them better, though.
Also, I'd recommend using the tweak pack in concert with G3 Tweaks and Weimer's Ease-Of-Use.
