Problem with the ugly guy with horns sticking out of hes head (spoiler?)
I am playing a nosferatu who realy on my stealth skills. First when i came to kingsway i tried to sneak past the two-footed-heads put i couldent so i tried to kill them with my knife, this worked but took alot of life, then when i came into the basement i meet this guy with big horns sticking out of hes head, saying something about that i have a "inner beuty", the problem is that i cant kill him! He just keep "teleporting away" and does abomintions of hes takes 10-15 hits to kill (one of them)!? All help is highly appreciated. Oh, and yes my character is focused on stealth, dex and ofuscate (spelling?).

You might actually find this fight quite difficult if you're not focused on fighting. You might be able to hide in the sewer pipes -- but I've honestly never tried...
My main piece of advice is this: focus on killing the Tzimisce (the guy with the bones sticking out of him...) You should try using obfuscate to attack him -- use it, then sneak up on him and attack. You should do at least double damage, depending on your obfuscate level. Have you invested a few points in animalism or potence? They should really help, bloodbags are also helpful in this fight, so you might need to load a previous savegame and invest in a few.

It depends what you like. If you want to be a knife-wielding undead maniac, invest in Melee. If you like big guns... go with firearms. Personally I like melee and unarmed, but try to specialise. There's a very limited amount of xp in this game, so you can't max out everything.
If you want to be a melee fighter you might want to ignore your strength for now, because bloodbuff will fix it for you. Potence will also help with this...
And personally, I like animalism because it gives you some ranged attacks, but choose whatever you like.

Ok, thx for the help, i think i will go for melee weapons (it looks so cool when u do stealth kills with them).
One other thing, is there someone else then the prince u can work for? I hate that guy, he looks down on me only because i am a nosferatu and i have to use the sewers just to speak with him, oh the question: Can you work for someone else then lacroix?
And i looked in the quest "box", it stands i "meet" that guy with the horns, does that meen he arent dead? I really hope i dont have to meet him again...

Unfortunately you have to do jobs for LaCroix for a while but your many paths will reveal themselves as you play the game. Unfortunately all of the groups in the game have their own political agendas but you -can- choose who you side with eventually.
The quests for La Croix help to work out his nature and the nature of those he considers allies.. that way you can really see if this is a guy you want to make an enemy out of.
My advice is to keep your options open - be as pleasent as you can to everyone you encounter.. then your choises will be more varied come the end of the game. Also, before you get to the end game (spolier) before you get in the cab at the end of the bloodhunt quest, save your game. That way you can go back and see what the other choices would have been like.
In regards to the Tzimisce (the flesh bender)- yes you must fight him again.. I won't give the spoiler as to when but I -will- tell you that it is not in the same arena as before. This time he is a powerful melee adversary.

horny devil
although that creep turns out to be a big bad chief who reappears much more powerfully later in the game - don't worry about him. he may look like a nightmare, but he's got no clue how to beat a good strategist. by the time he re-appears, you'll think he is mincemeat to your grinder.
(fried mince...when he meets me)
it sounds as if you have got a fair way into the game without getting very well adjusted.
there are a couple of big tips that should help you a lot
1.sell books and buy them back, then read them and buy another copy if the sale details do not say that they are beneath your ability. some books can be used at more than one level and so you can make massive savings on the XP you use. some books are worth 16 points or more.
2.don't bother putting points into unimportant skill e.g. hacking or many into the likes of inspection. the passwords are available and getting them is the only use
for hacking. the walkthroughs tell you where things are and even if you don't use the walkthrough, you'll probably remember where things are.
other tips
invest in finance/intelligence - with limited amounts of money available earl on, you need to spend wisely and the haggle feat is actually quite important.
a wad of dosh can be made from the coppers condition quest early on. bleed him dry then stake him out for $460.
it is always better to take items or training than money as a reward. you can't usually buy the items and the training can't be purchased either.
get any free training available - Nines gives you 2 (yes 2!) lots of free training - Beckett can give you some, but if you are using the book strategy, you will often be above the level he will train you. Romero gives you firearms in exchange for sexual services.
remember to swap clothing to get the stolen dex back when picking locks. if you don't, you'll think you need to spend more XP on dex than you really need.
get humanity in easy ways - don't spend XP on it.
complete side quests as soon as you can after entering a new area - do them straight away and crank up the XP. get them out of the way early and get the benefits before the more difficult end-quests for the areas. do the plague-bearer quests ASAP - the XP is good and Strauss gets to like you.
bank XP if you are not sure which skills you most need for the next diffcult part. having 20-something points in the bank gives you real options.
saying that - level 5 disciplines are often much better than the lower ones and when you have committed to the style of character you want to play, go all out to get the best discipline up to 5. not all disciplines need to get to 5 to be a great deal of use, but some - like celerity - do need to be at full strength to be particularly useful.
crawl to Lacroix - we know he's a d-h, but play along. you can go to Damsel and still join the anarchs and be as two-faced as lac. he gives money and a haven, so why p him off? you'll be satisfied in the end anyhow.
go to Confession regularly. the money comes in handy.
in chinatown, there is lots and lots of money available. the guns used by the Tong in the brothel and the nightclub fetch a lot of money. $149 per gun for a brock - have you counted how many there are...
killmatics and steyrs also sell well.
You can use the money to create a stash of elder vitae and blue-blood packs and keep spare weapons in your haven. I end up with full ammo in all available firearms - sometimes twice over.
guns you pick up are often just about fully loaded - which saves buying ammo.
use the chalice, blood dolls or humans rather than blood packs wherever possible. saves a lot of money.

A little advice
One of the biggest hurdles I had to overcome playing this game is that I'm used to playing combat games. I was used to thinking of overcoming the enemy by combat. This is, however, an RPG. In this game, you *are* a vampire. So forget about fighting and shooting your way through everything, and start thinking like a vampire. Vampires need to feed on blood. It's perfectly acceptable to feed your way through Grout's mansion, and it's one of the easiest ways through. I feed my way through Grout's mansion regularly and never even draw a knife. Likewise, you might get caught up in the concept of using a weapon. Don't. If you check your stats, you will usually find that unarmed combat is more effective for you than a tire iron, baseball bat, and even some ranged weapons. The damage you can cause is your lethality plus your feat adjustment, so if your fists give you 8 + 0, you're better off with your fists than a .38 that gives you 7 - 1 unless ranged capability is important (like dealing with zombies). Use your vampire abilities, your skills, and your enhanced physical prowess. Weaponry is seldom ever needed until you get to either zombies or Bosses. Andrei is the same. You can usually beat up the Head-Runners with your fists and still take out Andrei by literally beating him to death. I've done this as a Tremere with Blood Shield and liberal use of Blood Strike. I would still recommend bringing a few blood packs with you, though.
