after killing deavorn
when i killed deavorn
i flooded the mine.
when you have flooded the mine you see a movie and you are
put outside that building.
normally there are a few people coming to talk to you
but they do not come in my game
so i can't go further and go in the city of BG
who can help me ? ?

Well, seeing that you are expecting him to come, I take it that you did save the slaves, meaning that you did give the money to the slave on the second floor? Because I think that if you do it the evil way (drowning the slaves), the miner won't come up to you, but you can march into Baldur's Gate anyway.
So have you already tried to talk to Scar, the Flaming Fist Soldier who guards the bridge to Baldur's Gate? Because I don't think, that you need the slave to continue the story. Important is, that you have killed Daeveron, so that you get into the next chapter. So if you really don't need the miner to continue the game, you don't have to worry much; it is nice, that you get experience and 2 reputationpoints, but you can easily get both later on (also, by the time I've reached the Cloakwood Mines as a Good-aligment character, my reputation is already 20 anyway...)

After you flooded the mine the miner comes up to you, even if you did the evil way. If you did it the evil way the miner tells you to **** off (or something) and you get exp and -2 reputation. If you did it the good way i think you get exp and +2 rep. But the first time I played BG, I didn't flood the mine at all! And I still got into baldurs Gate even if that miner never came. I just took all of Davaeorns letters, spoke to his apperentice and then I left. And Baldurs Gate was open to me...
You guys are my best friends, we've always been together, we're four of a kind laughing all day and palling away, we're best friends!

when you take the incriminating letters from dav's chest, that should trigger the chapter 5 opening monologue...if that didn't happen, then you have a nasty bug. it happens. the first time i played through, i got a chapter 7 bug that killed my game. the second time i played through, i got a chapter 6 bug that killed my game. frustrating.
