Maybe a little spoilerish??
Has anyone ever had trouble triggering the Trademeet merchants aftercompleting the Druid Grove quest? I play on a Mac and have played through this point with at least a dozen characters, and I would imagine that about half the time, maybe more, the merchant that sells the Dwarven Thrower fails to trigger. Everything else is there- I get the reward, the statues, even the other merchant that sells Ras, but not "main" merchant. My reputation is usually above 13 (but not always) and I always talk to the Djinn first. This thread touched on it. It is a bummer because he sells a few good items. Has anyone else encountered this?

Hmmmm...
What exactly happens when the merchant 'doesn't trigger'? This may effect the best solution.

Re: Galuf
Well, nothing exactly. Or rather, everything that should happen seems to happen, but the merchant just isn't there. I can finish all the other quests in Trademeet, stay at the Inn,just not get that merchant.

Yeah, I've never paid strict attention to time of day so I can't say for sure if I am doing everything 100% correct. The really baffling thing is how unpredictable it is. Sometimes I beat the quest and he is right there, and then other times I finish and I've got nothing- and I don't have the faintest idea what causes the difference. I consider myself pretty SOA savvy (I can answer most other questions on threads here) but this one stumps me.There are certain hours when the guy appears, also you have to make sure that you do something about those pesky genies to boot.

After finishing your druid grove quest, merchants will sell in Trademeet. Especially one who has very interesting gears (I think the one you're talking about). I think they generally only show during daytime. And sometimes he looks busy so he won't sell anything as a result. This is a bug. I could make him sell me his gears again only after installing the latest patch (on bioware.com).
Hope it will help ... If I understood you well.
