Favorite skills

Whats your favorite skill(s) and why. I like acrobatics and athletics, because they are easy ways to raise strength and speed. One of my favorite weapon skills is probably marksman, because its cool. :cool:

Aecrobatics because it allows you to jump immense heights and yet stay unharmed
Security because it allows you to pick higher level locks, letting you take the booty inside
Silent.

skills

For me it is Heavy Armour, Speechcraft, Athletics. These enhance your Endurance, Personality and Speed.

Some skills are more difficult than others to find credible choices in, and my chosen three boost some of the trickier ones. I always try to have all 7 skills (discount Luck, as no skill boosts that), represented in my 10 major/minor skills selections.
The head of the guild asked a new prospect to descibe himself in as few words as possible. The prospect made it in one, "Concise".

Alchemy. Potions are your friends.

Long Blades. When in doubt, carve.

Heavy Armor. If they are going to eat you alive, force them to work for their food.

Mysticism. Reflect unto others what you'd have them do to themselves.

Illusion: Paralyze, Chameleon, Invisibility
Enchant: Why cast when you can use an item?
Mysticism: As Fable said. Plus Soultrap, transportation spells, etc.

Mysticism: Abosrb health, Transportation, Soul Trap, Reflect
Alteration: Levitate, Jump, Slowfall, Swift Swim, Water Breathing

If I am a martial arts type:
Unarmored
Hand-to-hand

If I am a warrior type:
Heavy Armor

Marksman, especially combined with Sneak :D

Alchemy, I enjoy the creativity allowed by creating different potion recipes. This becomes even more fun if you use Sri's Alchemy :cool:

Mysticism - As fable said, doing unto others as they would do unto thee. ;)

Diplomacy - yes, it's an easily "broke" skill, but used in a roleplaying context, it's nice to have friends in high places ;)
I sincerely wish we could re-consider this plan from a perspective that involved pants.

Marksmanship + Illusion = total domination.

Paralyze + Bow + 100% Chameleon(incase they magick resistant) = Lots and lots of dead monsters without even a scratch on yourself.

Alchemy, marksman, and mysticism. I've always had alchemy; it's dead useful. With it, I don't have to worry about buying healing potions. And it's a good way to make a little extra money. :rolleyes: For marksman, what can I say? It's fun to shoot cliffracers from a distance. :p And as for mysticism, well, I can zap away from danger, or if I have a bunch of crap to sell. And soul gems. What else?
I wanted to change my sig, but I can't think of anything to change it to :(

Acrobactis are the easyest to get to the fullest.

Longblade because it is the best weapon.

Heavy Armour is the best armour.

Mysticsim because of teleportation where ever and soultrap.

Alchemy because of potions, the liquid gold at a good level.

Altercation because of levitate and water walking and breathing and opening doors.

Those are musts when you are making a character.
