"Correct" ending? (Possible spoilers)

Post by Ripe »

Just wandering: Which of the five ending is the "correct" one considering the existing storyline created for P'n'P game?

If I remember correctly, computer in Foxy Boxes set game date to early 2004 (I think it was March or April) which would made it some 5-6 months before Gehenna begins (I hope dates are correct).

Any of them presumably:
Spoiler

If the resident of the Ankaran Sarcophagus is *not* an Antideluvian then none of the events of the game have an impact on the "proper" storyline. If he *is* an Antideluvian he's not even in the sarcophagus at the end and given that the end of Bloodlines only changes what happens to you and the sarcophagus itself then it doesn't matter then either

The events in bloodlines, apparently, get a passing mention in the Time Of Judgment books... But seeing as, ultimatly, all that happened is a lot of neonates died, the biggest lash back would be if the cammerilla decided to come down hard on the anarchs for all the murders... Because belive me, it WOULD be the anarchs who got blamed.

Well the Time of Judgment books were written a good while before Bloodlines was released. I don't recall a mention of L.A. much at all in any of the Gehenna adventures (I've been researching it a bit lately, as I'm running an online VtM campaign set in L.A.), which instead tend to focus more on New York, Cairo, and some other exotic locations. For that matter, the Anarchs are generally ignored in Gehenna, altogether (though, ultimately, all the sects become unimportant). In general, I think that any of the endings of Bloodlines are viable for the old World of Darkness.

only the anarch or lone-wolf endings will leave you happy.

I dunno I liked the Cami ending the best really.. simply because I think that they are a necessary institution and La Croix is a jackass...

SPOILERS!!

As I said, Prince LaCroix and the Anarchs of his city do get a passing mention in the ToJ books. 99.99% of all the endings, you may have noticed, from anyones perspective except yours end in exactly the same way. One night everything was fine, then tension amoung the clans, then the prince is killed in an explosion... Nobody gives a rats behind about the neonates that might also have been blasted away or not.
