What is the most fun party to play?

Hi,

Ability is secondary here, I want to create the most interesting and charasmatic party available. I want romance, bickering, fights and fallouts galor! When I played SOA my character didn't develop any romantic storylines - maybe as he was a big ugly half-orc! What's the best character to play/ way to play to generate more fun? Male rather than female? I hear you can have a baby with airie? Haer'dalis sounds fun as he is a serial womaniser (didn't use him much)

Matching extremes is probably a good idea. My favourite character is Anommen- I can't believe the slatin' he's got in a lot of posts. He's halarious and extremely interesting - mainly because he an opionated obnoxious bigoted tit! but that's why I like him! So what is the most fun party to play?

Well... Jan Jansen is a must-have for banters, that's for sure.

Also, Edwin can be funny, especially when he talks to himself.

Minsc (and Boo!) have great banters everywhere too!

If you're interested in Aerie and Haer'Dalis, you will certainly get an interesting story out of them if you choose to romance Aerie while Haer'Dalis is in your party. And if you like Anomen and want to keep him in your party, having Keldorn will add some interest to his quest.

As far as general dialogue, Jan, Minsc, and Edwin definitly provide for some funny lines. It's all about personal preference though.

Korgan / Viconia / Edwin / evil PC (typically F/T) is a pretty insane experience. The more bloodshed, the better the mood of the whole bunch.

Edit: Korgan alone rules big time for great dialogue ... Korgan and Edwin combined is unbelievable.

Make sure you keep Minsc using Lilaricor. In my new game, Minsc has had dialogues with Lilaricor and Keldorn, Jaheira, and Nalia already, and I just formed the party!
