Where did they go?

The robes and braces on both my fighter/mages has disappeared twice now.. I find no reason for the disappearance, they're just gone when I look at my char. Getting kind of annoyed.. :/
Anyone know why?

There are several possible reasons for this. One is that your game has messed up and "forgotten" them. The other is that your characters died and occasionally that little pile of goodies they leave on the ground is taken. The third reason is that you fought with a nishruu or some other such creature which eats magical items. A fourth possibility is acid damage, but I don't specifically know for sure if the game enforces those rules. In classic D&D your items made saves vs. acid, fire and cruching blows.

That exact same thing happened to Aerie, in my game.

I was also wondering why, but I did just fight a Nishruu AND she had some acid damage so I guess that's why.

It really sucks though.

Ah well.
