Fun With Pillows

Post by Slug »

I recently started playing Morrowind again. Although I always used to talk with my friends about how ugly the beast races are in this game (THEY WADDLE!), I decided to play as an Argonian anyway. She does not look too bad when she is standing still.

Anyway, I decided to do something a little different this game. I was inspired by stories I read online about mysterious pillow bridges over Balmora. So I went around Balmora, Seyda Neen, and Caldera stealing pillows. Curiously, I hardly ever needed to use my sneak skill. I guess nobody expects to get pillows stolen from them.

The result: a floating sculpture composed entirely of pillows. Yes, it is indeed floating in the air next to the Mages Guild in Balmora. I did not use all the pillows I stole; I only used about 40.

My alteration is low, so I only have a 1 pt 10 second levitate spell. Maybe I will create more sophisticated "modern art" once I get late enough into the game to create a CE leviate ring.

So you read the posts and saw the images in the ES mod forums about pillow bridges too, huh? :D

Making up with someone after a nasty argument can be all sorts of fun, but leave you ridiculously sore and in need of bandages. Remember, band-aids are a kinky man's best friend late at night. :D

No, not a mod, but it was the subject of a lengthy discussion. Somebody wanted to know if it required a mod to build such a bridge, and several people posted the truth.

Everybody gets all excited about games with realistic physics... but sometimes its more fun when you do not have realistic physics.

Although that gravity gun in Half Life 2 was indeed very cool... I still did not finish that game, though. I got distracted by Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2. And I didn't even beat that game before Morrowind sucked me in again. :)

But I might put Morrowind down for a bit and play some more Star Wars. I like the sequel so far...
