Special effects, graphic ...problem

Post by Cheester89 »

So it is this way. Iam playing on Geforce 2 MX (What a shame :( ( ) and in menu I am having Frame Buffer Effects unable to turn on. Ok that's maybe because Geforce 2 is not that .....good. But I dont know why I don't get blured screen when I am using the Force and this same is with Maruders Rage . IS that because of Frame buffer effects or because Geforce isn't compat.... well used and cant afford this type of effects ? Can anyone chaci it out?

If you really really (really really) need the effects, I suppose you could get a new graphics drive. This laptop is literally a piece of salvage (although I've done more with it to send it far past its previous capacity) and can't run anything more than low-quality games. The card is maxed on it, the computer won't support a higher graphics drive...but I'm still happy with it. It does what I need it to do. I'd just recommend dealing with it. At least you're playing the game, right?

The 'blur' is part of the frame buffer indeed. I turned it off near the end because it became a little laggy, and suddenly it didn't blur anymore. Anyway, the description also says this.

Force Sight

And the Force Sight is a part of Frame Buffer because I don't get it too? Which card supports FB effects ?
