Really Lovin' Lucas Arts
Heheh... I just took a break from KOTOR II to play the new squad shooter, Star Wars: Republic Commando.
Anyway, I thought I would just comment on the fact that just like KOTOR II it was a really interesting game that required a bit of creative thinking. It was quit enjoyable. However, it also shares the theme of having a really unsatisfactory ending. I hate these cliff hangers. It's nothing but pure marketing to get people to buy the next game. I hate the fact that I've been sucked in to it without redemption. It took me about 6 hours to finish this game. It really needed to be longer. I'd hate to say it, but as far as the single player mode goes, it was not worth my money.

Six hours to play KotoR2? Or am I mis-reading you? I've played for more than 30 hours. The character writing is excellent, and while it's obvious the game was rushed due to Lucasarts, there's still far more here to enjoy than in the original title.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Now, that makes sense. Though we do occasionally get the odd person who thinks playing an RPG in 1/5th the time it takes anybody else denotes accomplishment on the level of a lifetime Nobel Prize.

Although the ending to kotor2 is sorta lame it is nreally nott that bad...the thing i love about this game is the character interaction which reminds me of baldur's gate 2...i enjoy roleplaying and enjoying the game so talking with all of my guys is quite fun for me...don't worry so much about being uber and just roleplay your toons and you might get more fun out of it...its not a race to the end

Normal. No breaks. Just sitting in front of my computer with a coke and a bowl of popcorn all day. The hardest part of the whole game was that one mission with a time limit. That took me a good half hour or so.
