i never said i rushed the game. Not remeber how to spell a guys name that is purely fictional doesn't mean i rushed the game it mearly means that the guys name wasn't the most important part of the story to me Nihilus was a boring unfinished character first of all not being able to understand what he says with no subtitles is very anoying second of all he is not realy conected well to the story Yes he is Visas master we know that Yes he survived Malachore V and Yes he was kriea's apprantice as well as scion but still he is never fully developed and is a complete tangent part of the game He's supposed to have a hunger to kill every thing but is to afraid to fight the jedis openly and we never get to see his cool hunger that kills everything in action he kills a planet full of force sensitives and with a jedi meeting going on no problem yet a lone jedi can kill him on his own ship?? i mean theres something wrong there I mean the only Powerful dark jedi we have seen fall was in episode 1 when obi wan took darth maul by suprise say thing with vader killing palpantine he took him by suprise and threw him over the edge so to think a jedi how is at least acording to description infinatly more powerfull to die that easy is just plain dumb. i found that paragus telos ondaron/duxn and nar shaddar are they only "completed" planets dantoine come close but in the end has little "real" side quests atmospheric sensors and moister vaporator is all i can really think of. this game is also mising the party member quests that were present in kotor i.
I have loved RPG's since U7, and read story lines very carefully. The problem with KOTRII is the lack of coherency. An illogical story is boring because you spend more time correcting the plot than loosing yourself in it. For me, the test of a good RPG is, if like a good book, are you sorry that the game (book) has ended. I was more frustrated at the end of KORTII than anything else. Too bad, because some of the characters were really well done. Fleshed-out (so to speak) at the beginning of the game's development when the developers had more time.
Well the story wasn't all that complicated I thought ... I don't know which plot points you are talking about because everything seemed pretty straight forward to me.
It is really alarming to me that people thought Atris is Darth Traya or Bastilla ... not only is there a physical difference ... but the character developement and voices are completely different. Makes you wonder what they are paying attention to while playing this game.

What plot points?
On Nar Shaddaa, you have two tasks-- talk to the local Jedi Master and get the attention of the Exchange to ask why they are trying to "get the last Jedi." But one of the quests you get from the Exchange. How about asking then? (Oh, thanks for the quest. Now why are you trying to kill me?)
The all important fuel for Telos-- just disappears.
The all important Force Bond with Kriea-- just disappears.
Why the Beast Masters v. the Townies on Onderon where only the Queen has an accent? The split is all over the City-- and has nothing to do w. the story. And why do the Mandalorians have a base on a Moon circling Onderon. After the Mandalorian War, no one of the Republic or Onderon figured-out it might be a good place to put an outpost so it couldn't be used as a base a second time?
I could go on. But why? I liked a lot of the game. Some great characters. The true Sith Empire waiting beyond the Outer Rim-- good stuff. The reason you gain loyalty so quickly because you might be a "wound in the force." Clever. And the game was a little more open ended than the first. (A lot more would be fine by me.) I just found parts of the game frustrating.
I too don't know why some think Atris is Bastila. There doesn't seem to be a connection there at all. IMHO.

Don''t you people follow the dialogue or something, to actually get the story? That's what the entire RPG genre is about...
well, sometimes the dialogue would skip ahead on itself, damn nasty bug, (also the endmovie i had to play from the unlocked screen, because otherwise there was no sound...) anyway, i missed the last dialogue (managed to findout i had save kreia though, through persuasion...
so i anyone can enlighten me as to the last words... i'd appreciate it.
(should you not want it to be a spoiler for the rest, my e-mail is JFSOCC@hotmail.com )
thanks in advance

@Rusicade... I understand the rest of your ranting , but the one reason that the mandalorians are there is because no one suspects it. That and the fact that the forest is so dense that there arent detectable. They dont have to really have to mworry about outiders, considering the violent nature of the forest. And it used to be a major mandalorian base, something that they are proud of. So I guess it makes some sense...somewhat...

how about the fact that you have to kill the assasin sisters TWICE?
once for atton, at the cantina, and the second time when leaving goto's cruiser...
there are mistakes in this game, problably because (parts) it was rushed, it is still an amzingly cool game however, because (and this is my favorite argument) it is EPIC, you are changing the fate of the galaxy (The way Robin Hobb describes the catalist...)

I'm don't think that was a mistake since the second time the sisters say Atton should have checked to make sure they were dead and also in the cantina you don't get to pick up the remains off their bodies, Atton just runs back to the Hawk.

Actually - you can return to the cantina and pick up remains. Well - I could this time round.

Yes. The first time you fight them (as Atton) they have two Twilek spinning blades each. The second time you meet them (on Goto's yacht) they have one each having lost the others in the cantina, and tell you that Atton should ahve fought them to the death rather than to incapacitate (or words to that effect).
You can return to the Cantina after the sequence ends on the yacht to recover the other two blades (but there are no remains). Definitely a good idea as each blade is worth 500 components broken down.
No mistakes at all.

"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.

Days? How many hours? I've read the average time to complete KotOR I was 60 hours and the average time to complete the average computer game these days was 20 hours. 9 days * 24 hours/day gives a total of 216 possible hours if you don't do anything else I'm not sure what kind of survey they did. Anyone know the average time for TSL?
Kreia is Darth Traya, Darth Traya is Kreia. Its Darth Nihilus by the way. Atris is the one in the white outfit that u have a long talk with in the beginning on Telos at the Academy in the Polar Regions.
Question Answered
Actually it is more complex, and I can surly understand the confusion (I'm not certain myself), if you listen to waht Kreia says in the end-sequence if you ask about Atris.
End-game spoilers

When you ask something about what happened to Atris after defeating Kreia, she answers that the galaxy will always need a Darth Traya.
So when looking at the clues throughout the story, it is very easy - and plausible - to come to the conclusioin, as others here have - that Atris becomes Darth Traya when she falls, because she betrays the Order, and thus taking the role which Kreia had before she was "cast out" by her apprentices Sion and Nihilus. When Atris is "redeemed", Kreia gets back the Darth Traya mantle again for the end-game for killing the Jedi masters.

whatever, i used the force at level 30, to freeze em, perhaps that's why i didn't hear anything, or maybe it was because i didn't have that MORON of an atton in my party at the time...
and i finished the game in 36 hours, no skipping dialogue, no walkthroughs, no cheats, no trainers, no easy mode.

It is also rumored (and with good evidence to back it up) that the Darth Traya you face at the end of the Trayus academy would have been two different people, depending on your gender. Atris would have been the endboss if you played a male PC, Kreia if female. Makes sense, as Atris loved the Exile and was devastated by his loss. I think they are supposed to be the same age, though the fact that Atris dresses and looks like an old woman doesn't help establish her as a character of the Exile's peer. Still trying to come up with a good reason why Kreia would be the endboss for females, bad ass intriguing character notwithstanding.
In the sound files, there is a sound byte that is distinctly Atris's; "Ahhh, children with lightsabers... not quite jedi, I think." then proceeds to put them in their place.
And as every KOTOR2 fan with a pulse knows, much of the end game was cut.
