Personaly, I prefer HandM. She's got great melee attacks
and all that Echani stuff doesn't hurt either...

There is realy no contest - Handmaiden is by far the most usefull character you get (too bad you only get her as a male PC, female get that Disciple wimp - with exception of G0T0, most useless character IMO).
At lvl 6 she did more damage (and survive longer) in combat then some characters at level 16.

Depends!

It depends if you are talking about which character I play with the most pleasure (Handmaieden) or with I like the most by the way she acts (Mira)
The Light Side is the only honorable way of the Force that tries to bring peace and happines to the whole Galaxy. If you can master it then you can truely become a Jedi.

Handmaiden might deal a heap of damage, but by far my strongest character is me. End of story.

But if we're talking about NPC's, I'd have to go for her, too. Or maybe T3. Fully upgraded and with two agility upgrades he had like 28 DEX on lvl 12. And a heap of CON. (which are basically the only attributes he uses)

Handmaiden and Mira are the two best I would say. Handmaiden for her obscene amounts of damage, and Mira for her utility.
Without the light there can be no dark. Without the dark there can be no light. Even the most devout Jedi Master needs the dark side. The most evil Sith still needs the light.

I really couldn't get the hang of Mira, though. I never figured out how to use her wrist launcher :( . I think you're on the right track with T3.

LMAO, thats very good, how long did it take you to do that?

In answer to best character, definitely me, especially a a weapon master.
As for NPC, I never got to use handmaiden that much, may have to go male again, she never spoke to me after i tried to turn her into a jedi so i just got annoyed at her and used Bao-Dur because he was the only decent 1 with a lightsabre apart from Visas, she was good as well, but less hit points.

Mira was a bit pointless IMO, she was good with rifles, but she lacked health and she couldnt become a jedi (i think) so i inored her as well. lol

[QUOTE=Tini]Bao-Dur! :D

Ok, I started out being a little freaked by Bao-Dur's voice. It's almost too calming...

But I've just played through that conversation about 10 times now... and almost can't stop clicking... there's something seriously hypnotic about it... I think I'm addicted.

My favorite is Mira.

She's the only character I got to do serious damage with blasters. With targetting maxed out I turned her into a jedi ... gave her blaster bolt deflection without lightsaber. With rapid shot I get 3-4 hits of 30-40 damage each + the basic benefits jedis get.
I like sniping with her so much ... I go solo with just her.

Increase her constitution, better than increasing her dexterity, this allows her to equip implants that boosts her dexterity or better. Personally, I prefer to boost her con from 12 to 16 so she can use the Advanced Combat Implant. That is the only way she can get blaster pistol specialization since she is not a soldier.

Yes, that's what I do with most characters... almost every point goes into constitution, until 18. It's a real pain... in part 1 things were a lot easier when it comes to implants.

Handmaiden can lay down the smack but Mira is fun as can be atton...they do seem to be the exact same characters tho...with either one you just get the 2 best blasters you can and dual wield them...the utility is also nice...its unfortunate tho that blasters don't deal close to the damage of a fully upgraded lightsaber or handmaiden's fist :)

i dunno why you guys all say atton is bad my first time threw didn't train him and yes he sucked but this time threw as jedi mast female his sneak attack + master flurry + duel wielding nice sabers + my froce wave/stasis field = an amazing char once you start putting on the buffs he is even better him inspire folowers and batle meditation and master valor puts this guy over the top mira is my second party member if not Mandalore with to fully modified Maldalorian disintgrators

At least as far as Paragus goes, T3 has got to be one of the better NPCs.
That shock-arm does some pretty good work on the droids. I would say it's comparable to force lightning because you don't waste any force on it.

T3 is really great to have around when you want to avoid leveling up your other NPCs.

Once they're all Jedi though, I gotta say Handmaiden with a dual-hilt might even compete with my character at times depending on class.

Atton is pretty decent as well. It's pretty funny just letting him pass out and then run away from a battle so you can watch him get up and get shot own again.

Atton man! (spoiler)

maybe I'm the only one, but Atton is my favorite character. I like that he's the only character whose attitude changes when you make him Dark side. Also..after you beat Kreia she tells you that he becomes kind of a toned down version of Nihilus, which is freaking tight!

On combat, I'm not really sure. I just need somebody to fill the gaps, while I electrocute the opposition with Force Lightning. OK, I need somebody who can heal, so Kreia is probably the best.

As for personality, I think that Atton is the most fun, wheras Kreia is the most interesting.

The characters I dislike the most are the Disciple (seriously, the guy reminds me of Denmark's former minister of Justice, Frank Jensen) because of his general wimpiness and Bao-Dur because of his voice. It freaks me out. I also disliked Mira - when one of my party members tells me that I'm her bounty, then I want the option to shout 'get outta here you %&#¤'!

Well, the Handmaiden does, to an extent. For instance, if you're darkside, on Onderon, during the fightscene in the cantina with Vaklu's forces, she says something about this battle being a good way to cleanse the planet of some of the dregs.
