Got this after staking her (at least I think its hers) can I use it for anything (also bunch of books on reversing vampirsm) can I use them for anything or are they just plot devices.

The heart is used if your lover was turned into a vampire. This happens with Aerie and I think I heard someone say Viconia. Could happen with Jaheira and Anomen as well. If you don't have someone in your party you were romancing then no one would have been turned into a vampire and it is useless. I'm pretty sure thats how it goes.
