The Best Exp Exploit !! (possible Spolier)
The Best Exp Exploit !! (possible Spoiler)
hey guys. ok most people talk about the Sith tomb on Korriban and beating up Hssss dragons. dont bother, it takes too long at 400 exp per kill plus lightsiders may have a tough time.
the best way is:
gather Kreia (exp bonus) and Bao Dur (good demolitions skill). park yourselves between 2 zone areas. lay down 15 deadly mines, then zone to the next area. lay down 15 deadly mines. zone back, recover 15 mines then re lay them. zone and repeat. this was giving me about 9500 experience points per rotation, or about 4 levels in 20 minutes. is it exciting? not really but it takes much less time than the Korriban trick.
gather the deadly mines on Dxun (busy little robot room) and a whole crap load on GOTOs yacht.
I stopped at lvl 44 because I had all the skills I needed, more force points and powers than I could use. Note the difficulty of the game is relative: the higher level you are, the more vitality points your opponents have. in other words, you dont really need to be super high level
let me know what you think!

even better if whoever you send has some major treat injury skills, and someone has great demolitions skills.
break down huge assortment of medpacks and mines and grenades. by this time you have offensive force powers and heal powers. if who ever is breaking down the items does it before the exile is back in party, his/hers/its treat injury skill is rolled for chems produced by breakdown. before the exile is released, if you go for all the programs and required security passes, you can find a lab station. break chems down, and make devistating mines.
a few hundred more per cycle, but it all adds up...
good one...

Korriban Trick:
Inside the Shyrack cave you get into this dark side cavern (alone). At the far end of this "tomb", you'll find a sith corpse that will spawn hissis (sp?) when you open it up. There is a bug that doesn't turn this corpse "off" when you touch it once, so you can touch it again and again, and it will spawn 3 more hissis to fight you. You can spawn 30 at a time and use force storm to kill em all. I think they give 400 exp per kill.

Walk among them... these beasts that are less than you are. See their strength, see how easily you fall to their muscle and skill. Why do you stand for this, why do you submit to the flesh when death is bred in your bones?

I just tried this, it is a lot more evil compared to the Korriban trick. It is far superior, because you can have Kreia (for exp bonus), you can use another NPC for recovering the mines (it requires about 24 demolitions for devastating mines) and there is no danger involved. Plus, you can do it anytime in the game (you do not need a specific location or level, you can do it with lesser mines, etc...)
Even lightsiders can easily do it as mentioned above.

The mines even though you transition and you do get xp for disabling are still classified as friendly mines when you go back so you CAN'T make them explode by stepping on them so you don't really need Mira. What is nice is that XP scales with level as well. Hsiss tend to lower in xp as your characters level higher.

I had frequent crashes when I tried the mine trick on Dxun (going between Mandalorian camp and the jungle) but I never had a crash when I did it on Nar Shaddaa (going between docks and landing pad). The game also autosaves when you do it on Nar Shaddaa.
Force Storm on LS isn't that much of a problem... I can cast it like 10 times in a row before I have to recharge. Get a lightsaber that recovers force points, maybe FP regeneration feat, and you're set.
FP cost is not the problem, but as Light, you can NOT regenerate FP in secret tomb on korriban

if you plan to do the secret tomb as a lightsider, you must invest in master force drain.
i've never taken that tomb except as a lightsider...lightsiders can't die in that area of the tomb. true for darksider?

You don't need any of that stuff in the tomb to fight the infinite Hsss. It just makes things go a little faster. Personally, I didn't have any trouble wading through infinite Hsss with nothing but a lightsaber. Korriban was my last world. By that time my defenses were so high that the Hsss couldn't hit me anyways. I'd just trigger a wave of them, slaughter them all with dual blades, and do it all over again. In hindsight, I should have prepared for the Tomb by tooling up a double-bladed saber because even as a Consular/Master I wasn't using Force powers at all.
As a Guardian/WM it should be a cakewalk and free XP.
I did notice one part in the tomb sequence where my FP got instantly regenerated. In a couple of the initial battles I ripped through tons of FP and was nearly depleted. Then a cut-scene, another room, and I was instantly full. I probably wasn't watching the regen bar closely. I suspect that there are portions of the Tomb where FP regens normally.
