The most stupid character of BG2

Haer' Daelis.

He should be able to back up that ****y attitude, but he usually gets killed by the third round if I don't hide him behind Minsc (or Boo).

Personally I think Imoen and Nalia both suck, Jan Jensen is the best thief mage, with all those items he has on hes probably the best thief in the game and he makes a decent mage, plus he can wear chain armor.

Nalia ,"the poor"," must help the needy","you could have given more" makes me go in to the guarded compound and try to SELL her so I could help the "needy".
Edwin and Imoen are better mages that her (both can cast a extra spell,[even Edwin have a extra spell besides the one he gets from being a especialist mage]) and Jan will never get that high (unless you remove the XP cap and even if you do that that would still take a long time to get that high) level spells that Edwin,Imoen and Nalia can cast.

Oh, yeah, Nalia gets my vote. I actually don't mind her as a mage....in a two-mage party. But her dialogs...

Of the wider definition of NPC's, I'd say Saemon Havarian. I'd love to drag him down to fish city with me and spit him on a trident. What an a**h***.

Heh, yeah I think the female characters leave little to be desired in this game, except for Viconia who's the best character in the game on an aesthetic level, and with Crom Faeyr she's one cool witchy woman. But yeah Aerie bites, as does Nalia, and Jaheira, contrary to popular belief, is better replaced by Cernd who kicks ass as the Greater Werewolf. I wish Boo would crawl down Minsc's throat and choke the obnoxious buffoon.

Well, if it is meant stupid as in low INT rating, the award goes to Minsc. Besides, he gets a little annoying after a while.

The prize for the most irritating character goes to Aerie. She is the main reason I am no longer playing with good characters.

And I think Nalia is cool. I believe that everybody is just jealous that she could part away with all the wealth and luxury and truly follow what she believed in.

Another stupid NPC is Irenicus. How did he concieve that he could mess with the son of Bhaal and not get his b**** kicked?

Irenicus didnt know better because he thought he could get away with sucking the tree of life dry. DUH!

I have to say Jahiera gets on my nerves "QUICK" and Aerie right behind her.

However, as far as stupid goes, all the Drow in the Under dark have my vote. They all have +5 gear and +3 weapons and they DON'T rule the World. They must be idiots.

I haven't played that long yet, but to my mind, Aerie is the most annoying - hands down. All she does is whine, and the few times that I tried to coddle her she yelled at me for insincerity. She has some great spells, though.

Nalia's not bad - I just wish that she could heal the way that Aerie can - then I could rid myself of Aerie once and for all. Her time is coming...

get him the spell called stone skin and actually use his spins then he can clean up much faster and better then minsc, esp if you *cough* switch his swords around so that the dex draining one is in his main hand

I used H'D's Spin to hold of all those fallen paladins while I took out the main guys. Neat. But he is a little weak on the HP. Girdle of constitution helps, along with those defensive spells and the Mask of King Strohm III.

Lowest intellegence around. If I ever want to wear firecam armour, I just use 3 potion of genius and wear balduran armour (+1 cha)

About the player controlled NPCs
Nalia - nalia nalia nalia
She never stops whinning "how are we helping the unfortunate down here?"
If it wasn't for Jan Jansen stealing Boo, I would have replaced her with Jan ages ago.

Yoshimo - because he betrays you, yet is the best PC NPC in the game.

But on the other hand, he is the only NPC that can hire in the brothel.

Imoen - same goes as nalia, she doesn't shut up about her dreams.

Aerie - started as a real pain in the backside. Fortunately for me, she has now shut up and is really quiet now. Maybe rep 20 has something to do with it. That and not having Viconia picking on her.

Anomen - ****y little ****, and he can't even fight for jack. He was worse in combat than Jaheira, Minsc and Keldorn. He also needed a quick kick up the arse. He kind of deserved becoming a fallen palidin.

Jan - he steals Boo

Re: Minsc - I like him, he is funny, and if he ever says somehting stupid along the lines of "lets kill them" I do it. I used the non-walkthrough way of finising Cult of the unseeing eye because of this. I walked straight in killed Gaal, and if you do this, the Unseeing Eye appears just behind the door. You get less XP though. He also has that cute giant mutant space hamster.

Re: Edwin - by far the funniest character in the game. A shame he/she is evil.

Yes, Nalia is annoying, I dislike her patronizing attitude. What Jahiera says about her when you first meet her is right on, how she says she's unaware of class distinctions, but her manner exudes it. Edwin is also annoying, however. The thing about not being able to cast 9th level spells, you can't now without cheating, but you will be able to in the expansion. I hope they give us a good or neutral mage that can do it.
