Stuck in the Sewer and Eye of the Beholder
Stuck in the Sewer and Eye of the Beholder
I can't get through the secret door in the sewer or through the door in the Eye of the Beholder level. I have finished the Windspears level but could not find a sewer key, if that's what I need.
Spoiler
When you visit the sewers for the there's a group demanding money paid "passport", just before them, there's a secret entrance.
But true, you get the key from Tazok (Big ugly black demon lord) in front of the prison to Garren's child.
[/End Spoiler]
There are some maps around the throughout the internet, I can't seem to find any now, I'm afraid, but I'll be back if I do find some.

Thanks for the reply but I'm really describing two different doors I can't open. One is the secret door you described in the sewer. I killed Tazok but I don't have the key. It's been awhile since I did this so I may have lost it or something.
The other door I can't get in is near the entrance to Eye of the Beholder. I get that message that says it is being held closed by some other means or something like that.
Any other tips are welcome.
Thanks

Spoiler
The first door leads to the Mind Flayers, and is opened with Tazok's key.
The second door, the one near the Beholder Cult, has the mage who imprisoned Haer De'alis. To open this door, you need to visit the bottom of the Five Flagons inn, and receive the quest from the actors.
If you have lost either keys, you can always add them in using Shadow Keeper. I don't consider cheating if you add in something that you lost.
Good luck
I have already completed the Haer De'alis quest as well. Thanks again for your help. Can you tell me where to find instructions for Slave Keeper?
Are you talking about the 'Destroy Cult of the Eyeless' quest, by chance?

Shadow Keeper is a very simple program. Just search in Google for Shadow Keeper, and download the program. Install the program.
Make sure you save your game under a proper name, eg. "Shadowedit", and exit Baldur's Gate II.
Next, open Shadow Keeper and load the save file. Go to the characters inventory, double click on an empty spot, and a menu should pop up. Go to filters, and type in "Sewer Key", and check the box that says match name. Double click the key, and it will enter the inventory.
Save the game under a different name, then open it in Baldur's Gate II.
TA DA! You now have the key.
