a question about neverwinter nights

Post by Albrecht »

I just recently perchused the platinum version of the game and was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of clasess available for I don't know the prestige clasess very well...
anyways I would like to hear your suggestions as to which class or combination of clasess should I choose in order to enjoy the game. I don't want to end up playing like a powermunchin' freak so please tell me which clasess you found the most fun to play with.
( I was thinking about either a rdd&sorc or druid/shifter though I would like to hear more )
thanks in advance.

That's a bit of a relative question, what i enjoy you may not.

that being said, i'd suggest a fairly baseline fighter or a paladin. from there you can explore some multi class or just get a feel for how the game plays - then you can try some more exotic builds.

or go for cleric or wizard - more emphasis on casting spells, w/o the sorc's or bard's limited spell book. wizards are the ultimate crash test dummy - their versatility will allow you to explore what spells you like the most without the downside of being stuck w/ a "bad" spell.

I would suggest a basic class to begin with. Then, with more exp of the game you can experience the great possibilities of other classes or prestige. Definitely fighter or wizard depending on what you like most (melee or magic combat). Both pure.
