NPC's Running ahead of me.....
Is there any way of stopping my companions from running ahead of me when I don't want them to???? It is starting to really anoying me. Especially in the Star Forge where they keep hitting the hot spots that get more people attacking. I like taking the slow but steddy approch, and they just keep running ahead. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thank you in advance.
One thing you can do is engage solo mode, which will cause your party to stop following you completely, so that you can move along alone. Of course, this means that, when you do run into trouble, you then have to turn off solo mode and then wait for your party to run and catch up with you, which might be bad for your health, so to speak. I know it's kind of a pain, but I can't think of any better way to do it.

You can't change stances in KotOR 1...
I really don't know what to say at that. The solo mode is the only thing that really helps...you cold also pull them out of combat manually one by one and engage solo mode, then wait for them (the enemies) to come to you.

You could try changing their scripts? I've never really found them that troublesome, so I've never delved into the scripts. But if I read right, Grenadier scripts should stay back and grenade the enemies only if your not in the blast zone. So if they are far away, they would most likely grenade them until they got close enough for you to also engage in combat.
Hope that helps a bit,
