good weapons early on

Post by SaMurAi_Jp4Real »

first of u need a soul gem try steal one from the mages guild in Balmora and if u cant do that taunt the enchanter and kill them so u dont get a price on your head 4 stealing them, next u will need a reasonably good weapon i had daedric **** when i started doing this but u mite not be there yet, go buy something as good as a silver (preferably better) and then get about 5000$ and go 2 an enchanter, u then want to increase the damage magnitude 2 35-40 this shud cost under 5000 and then ull have a weapon strong enough to kill an average enemy in 1 or 2 strikes, when u have a daedric weapon this is where u need an extremely powerful soulgem and alot of cash(i had 60k when i did this so mine ripped **** up) put the magnitude at 100/100 and put the thing above area up 2 about 3 this means in 3 seconds it shud do 300 dmg which is pretty dam good

.

The coolest item i ever made was by mistake, i used a greater soulgem with a fire atronach in it, and enchanted a regular shirt with levitate, 10 points worth for 5 second duration. why was it cool? you could cast the levitate like 50 times before it needed a recharge. So as long as you were patient and kept casting the spell you had a really sweet levitate item that didn't last longer then you needed(which usually annoyed me about the levitate spells) and it only cost 500 gold to make. have fun with a nice and far from cheep(game wise) item

Two advice:
1. Morrowind is a pretty old (but still amazing) game. Which means that if there is a hint, a way to get strong early, a way to make money quick, any shortcut, any secrets - they will most likely be year-old news.
2. pls try 2 type normaly typing like ur in a chat room doesnt mak u luk any better

THese are decent for very new players:

There is an enchanted axe in a tree stump in Seyda Neen, and an ebony short sword hidden in the rocks on the Odai Plateau south of balmora.

Travel south along the banks of the Odai river from Balmora. The path will basically end and travel up hill past the wooden suspension bridge. Go up there, that's the plateau, I don't remember precisely where the blade is, but it's hidden in the rocks somewhere.

enchanted dagger in seyda neen

Head out of seyda neen across the bridge to the north, across the second little bridge and on until the road turns North West. Head off the road to the East and then follow up the hill and around behind a swamp area until you are able to slide down onto the exposed rocks at the back edge of the swamp area. In the top of one if the hollow logs, you will find 2 stacks of 25g and a Firebight Dagger.

The glass axe is awesome in the beginning of the game. I can't wait to enchant it.

Here's a hint for the beginners...or continuers. Perhaps everyone knows, maybe some don't, but if you goto sadrith mora and lure the creatures to sadrith mora and have the guards fight for you, you'll most likely get some good guard armour and weapons and not only that but maybe some good weapons or valuable alchemy thingies...like daedra's hearts and stuff like that. I lured a golden saint that waited just outside Tel Vos to the guards and they attacked it and I got a free glass shield and longsword with a daedra's heart. Pity I didn't save though....
Have fun with this.
P.S This pertains to all ruins near settlements with guards... and your jumping capability.

Best weapon, on the hardest difficulty, I still use it late into the game, and is super cheap to make near the very beginning. Go buy the broken glass dagger from the pawn shop in Suran, then enchant it with the biggest gem you can find with a heal self on strike with as many hit points as it will heal without going over the 1 point cost.

This is so cheap, so easy, and saves countless headaches (enemy absorb magic, reflect magic spell, really easy heal (just go beat a racer down), etc.). Also, you'll notice if you keep trying to grab the biggest twig available to beat down your enemies, the game becomes lame. This way, you really have to work to get that skill up, training or practicing, in order to be effective for the later fights.
Right you are, Ken.
