viconia romance (tob)

i'm interested in reading the whole romance dialog for viconia, does anyone know where I can find it online?

it used to be out on the web, but I can't seem to locate it with google anymore... ???

polaris, what do you mean being geased? does viccy get geased to stay in your party when rep was above 19????or do you mean the vampire shtick???

grimm has a good point, our delightful, wonderful viccy can wear the human skin armor, and this is necessary to get her magic resist near 100%, which was the only reason I took that sicko wench last time.

I'm sorry, but tho she is a great cleric with some major perks and so forth, I can't stand her anymore...

anyway, grimm... I curse you to find that your party has to take in noober to finish your current quest. this is the most evil of all curses used by the aerie fan club!!!

and it will come true!!!

I played to the 'change dialogue' a few different ways:

The sleep dialogue is important but you can sleep with her, just ask her if she's sure and I think it's crucial to tell her your in love with her, then react badly to her glorifying the destruction of Saradush.

The Saradush dialogue is the real key. That's the one that makes or breaks the change. When I said it was kinda cool I lost the earlier progress I had made; when I freaked, I gained enough to initiate the change.

I cheated the variables to test the end dialogue, (as I do have a bit of a life) and I got the different dialogue.

Not sure about the ones in between but I believe it's the alignment change that triggers them so it should work fine. 'course I've been wrong before

-User- When you leave the underdark with Viccy the surface elves give you a choice; a geas for Viccy to prove/enforce her loyalty, or a quick death.

I played a SOA party with Viccy and used Shadowkeeper to rush through the romance. I got to the point where she tells you she should leave the group after the appearance of the handmadiens early in the game. After I tell her to stay, the romance starts from the beginning again. After any romatic dialogue, it reverts to the initial comment.
Did I miss something to conclude the romance?

Does anyone know what varibles I have to have set for a smooth romantic transition from SOA to TOB? Viconiaromanceactive=2 by itself hasn't cut it.

Darisha: How did you used Shadow Keeper to speed up the romance? What did you change? If you have ViconiaRomanceActive at 2, the romance should continues in ToB. Did you import the game or continue straight after finishing SoA?

I set the global ViconiaRomance countdown to 1, and let impatience do the rest. For some reason the CLUA command for the same just isn't working so I resorted to using SK. So it involved alot of the save, edit, save loop.

I do have the HappyScriptv4.1 installed so this may or maynot have something to do with it.

I finished SOA normally and went straight to TOB.

Which version of the Viconia file did you use? Try downloading the new version (v4.4), if I remember correctly there were some problems with Viconia's script that I fixed with the later versions. If you do not want to change how the romance runs, use the "_1" files - remove the _1 from the name.

I DLed 4.4 and will be able to test that out tomorrow. For posterity's sake I have been using _2 because that extra +1 thaco for elven archers is a moral imperative.

The _2 files are the same, except that they start the romance straight away. So only use this for Viconia, use the _1 files for the other romance options.
