Hello.
I was wondering if anyone knew why the skilldex button goes black towards the endpoint of the game?
I have just finished the military base, ready to head towards SanFran and the skilldex button is black and unusable.
If I exit out and reboot the game it goes back to normal.
I have read that this could be from hording too many items, or having many topics in the status page.
If anyone knows how to fix this, or why this is happening, I would appreciate any feedback.
I'm almost ready to complete this game, and I really don't want any bugs to stop me from the end.

It's likely because of too many entries in your Pip Boy. It happens to me right after I look at a newly downloaded datadisk. I just save before I read a new entry, then exit the game and reload.
It could indeed also be caused by the too-many-items-bug, which occurs when there are a lot of items on a map - in your backpack, in the car, on NPCs, in shops, etc. This is solved by selling or dumping some.

it happened to me to so i just put lots of stuff in lockers and leave them there until i need them sometime, like use the raiders den after you wipe them out
