Droid head conundrum (Spoiler)

I have been stuck for days trying to find the head of the droid that I need to be able to clear the doctors name on on Iziz.
I have consulted the walkthrough and it tells me to ask 1B-E8 about the droid parts, yet there is no option of saying that.
Help?

SPOILER

You first have to ask the beastrider captain in their part of the cantina about the droid head and if he knows who salvaged it. Then go talk to the droid and the option should be there.
