See cuz I have a lvl 17 mage right about now, and would like to export him and start a new game when I dual class hiim to like a fighter or a thief
would this work???

Errh... I would think that just reading trough the passage about dual classing in the manual (Or just from the information the game gives you when you press the dualclass button) would be a lot faster than posting the question here really.

As to the specifics of your question I would say that dualclassing your 17th level mage is a very bad idea. THe game still has the xp limit, wich your character has already reached, so your dualed character would not be able to reach more than perhaps level 3 before being stuck at that level for the rest of the game. One usually duals a character when the first class is still below level 10, in order to be able to relatively quickly use the old abilities again as well as not hitting the xp limit before the secondary class reaches above the old one.

Yeah could you explain more bout the bad part... cuz Im just borrowing the game of a friend so no manuall here...

Or ask that friend of yours from whom you're borrowing the game if he can also provide you the manual ... after all, if you have his game, he can't play it anyway.

You're not using a pirated copy, are you... ??

It will not work - and not only because the XP cap (there is the XP cap remover, which I consider a fraud). Your lvl 17 character must reach lvl 18 to regain his old abilities. In the other words, you will play a completely new character for the most of the game even if you install the XP cap remover.
