Kjutte, welcome to the forums. Please read the forum rules, especially #3:

The first time you change, you can't control the process. It's probably a wise idea to keep the rest of your party far away from you when you've just become the Slayer. The change will wear off on its own. You shouldn't die at the conclusion of that first change. Is that when it's happening?
After that, you can access the change whenever you want, under the controls on your interface. Keep a good eye on your health after you become the Slayer, because your mortal form can't sustain it for long. (You lose hitpoints.) You can always go to the same interface controls, and change back.

yes, please pardon my outburst.
anyway, no - that's not what's happening. I've had the ability to become a slayer quite a while, actually - but I didn't know it was possible to transform back, I thought that happened on its own. But I died from "losing control" every single time. but, problem solved - thanks alot.
Geez, I simply gotta add: it should'a been quite obvious that it was possible to transform back on my own. I feel like a total idiot now xD
Don't. There are so many things that aren't obvious in even the best interface.
Yeah, it's not like they give you a message or a tutorial on every little thing that can kill you. The tutorial isn't much help other than basic movement. I didn't know the disease symbol and I went traveling after taking some damage and died about three seconds after I started traveling in my next zone. Well, live and learn as they say...
