NEED SILVER AUG...where are they?

Yah. i went and sold my sword with my silver aug to a vendor right b4 i went into the arena. sure enough have to fight the white balvorine so we hit on it for 20 min with no effect. where can i get a new silver aug? checked all the towns didnt see any. do they exist?

At this point in the game, the only place to get one is from the weapons merchant in Knothole Glade.

yah i just found that the gamebanshee subsite and checked there to see where. i checked the vendor, he doesnt have any. in fact. i sold my weapon with mine in it to him lol. and it says he still wants a silver aug. how do i get him to get one in stock?

also do i even need a silver aug for the white balverine in the arena? does whisper have one?

I can't recall if you need one for the White Balvarine in the arena or not. in fact, I have vague memories of being able to hurt it with a legendary weapon, though I may have imagined that.

One of the merchants does carry the silver augmentation, I'm fairly sure. I could have sworn it was the Knothole Glade one. You might check the item vendor in Knothole Glade. If you have no luck, check the weapons merchants in the Arena and Oakvale. I may be having creative memory problems, but I'm certain someone sells them prior to the Hook Coast.

You never actually NEED a silver augmentation, it just makes the damage against Balverines more severe. I usually purposely don't use it. I just beat the arena, and killed everything with level four lightening. Now have MASSIVE magical exp. That should hold me over until Cliffside Paths...

You know you can get the Sentius before you have to hunt the dreaded White Balverine quest. Also you get a free silver augment during this quest from the lady whos hubby became the Balverine...
