I am trying to kill Kangaxx, and I am getting VERY frustrated. It took me awhile to figure out how to kill him in Lich form -snares take him out real easy- But as soon as he turns into a Demi-Lich its game over man. I don't think I ever even hit him. I had all kinds of protection spells cast (aid, def. harmony, chant, prot from evil, haste, etc). Is the protection from magic scroll the only way to kill this guy!? I haven't tried that strategy yet. If so, do I just send one guy in and have the rest hang back?
Im off to play Counterstrike- I know I can kill them Terrorists

First, he can only be hit with a +4 thac0 weapon. Next problem is that damn imprisonment spell he seems to have infinite copies of. If you have Korgan in your party or are playing a Berseker, the berserk special ability makes him immune to imprisonment. Problem solved. If not, protection from magic is an obvious option. I think there's also a high-level priest spell that gives short-term immunity to imprisonment, but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head.
As long as you have a decent fighter with the right weapon and who is somehow protected from imprisonment, Kangaxx is a pussycat. Send your protected fighter in solo...no problem.

The fifth level wizard spell 'spell immunity'. Imprisonment is abjuration, so thats the school you'll want to choose protection from. If you've got a fighter/mage get him to use a staff of the rynn or magi. If not, a normal mage will work too. Cast this spell just before he makes his transformation and make sure your wizard is closest. Kangaxx will then fire all his spells at your mage and if you have Keldorn with Carsomyr or anyone else with a +4 weapon (preferably a halberd or two handed sword) thay can hit him from behind your mage. Just make sure the mage remains the closest. Its still a delicate situation though.
