Selling T3-M4???? (Spoiler)

Post by XR Kooooon »

On my 4th run through the game, and while on Nar Shaddaa I ran across something I've never seen before. I just happened to have T3M4 with me when i was doing the quest for the droid processor from the astromech droid to get that sweet unlimited charges droid shield. I usually just kill the guy, but he happened to have some dialogue options pertaining to selling T3M4. I hadn't saved recently, or I would have tried it. I thought that if I did actually sell him, I wouldn't be able to complete the planet (as he is needed for that covert mission to get onto Goto's ship).

Anyone out there actually try selling him? Are you even able to?

You can actually sell him. I thought that was the way to get into Vogga's droid warehouse. But it wasn't, so I reloaded and didn't sell him. I would assume that you would get him back at some point. Like when you give the Ebon Hawk to that guy who says it's his. You get the ship back when the guy dies.

O.k is this whene you fight the Hk's on Nar Shadaa? Beacuse the little rat thing is the champ of Pazzak on nar shadaa and you giv it T3 when you beat him or something like that. I think that you can sell T3 with out playing the rat thing though, I never tried.

You don't have to play the pazaak champ to have him sell T3 for you.

There is an option to sell T3 to Kodin the droid dealer if you have T3 with you when you talk to him. If you sell T3 at this point, you lose influence with him. Then he sits there... Kodin won't sell him back either. After this happened, I reloaded my saved game so I don't know how it resolves itself if you do.

That is odd, now that you mention it. I guess there are so many other easy ways to gain influence with T3 I never noticed it.

SPOILERS

Anyway, while you can't buy him back and will lose influence with him, T-3 will still reappear and rejoin with you later (he'll save you, as per usual).

I thought that it was the OTHER rat-thing (Kalleh-Nah, or whatever his name is...the one that offers to tell the Exchange that you don't like them) PRETENDING to be The Champ. That's just the impression I got.
