Cordless Mouse and Keyboard---patches?

Post by Damocles »

I have a Logitec cordless mouse and keyboard. I love them and they work well for most games but BG2 can't handle them.

Any comand toggles on and off. Eg theiving. Making any action in game pretty much imposible, magic etc. The group attack pattern sets to triangle and can't be changed back.

Are there any patches to fix the problem?

I think it's just the game getting confused with the intermitent signal. Even though it's a few hundred times a sec.

Any input would help, it's a huge pain to switch mouse and keyboard just for one app.

Thanks guys.

Try this thread and the links I give in my first post (the third one of the thread). I had the same problem a while ago.

I had the same problem with my cordless logitech keyboard and mouse. I searched the Bioware support forum for BG1 and came across
http://forums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=270999&forum=11
Unistalling the Itouch software fixed the problem for me.
