Well does it crash every time? I know my computer has a nice habit of crashing the game due to full virtual memory and usually likes to do that before I can save. Resulting in me doing it over again lol. Mine never crashes at the same points and always after I have been playing for quite a while.

That is really weird. Other then the one experience point, a quest completion and becoming co-owner of The Confession with a $200 income every now and then... you can finish the game without it. As to whats wrong, maybe make sure you save your saved files and reinstall the game... I really can't help otherwise with suggestions :(

Well... it's not a big loss as you said. Although it's annoying me, cause I want to complete every single little quest there is :P

Did you side/take his offer (with Boris) or just kill him? If you told him you would kill Venus you may not have the option to talk to her, only kill her. If you took his offer to kill Venus then killed him, you may not be able to do either. This is just a guess as I always sided with her.

I also sided with Venus and killed Boris. But I found the whole thing so damn easy so maybe I forgot something?.. But my choices during the game shouldn't effect whether it crashes or not... should it?

Well.. I guess my computer isn't the best computer to play games on ( always blame the computer ;) )

I actually never knew you could side with Boris, I killed him and sided with Venus lol.

But your right, your choices should not crash the game. However a crappy computer can. ;) mine did until I increased the RAM and still does on rare occasion.

It's not clan-related. I've played that quest as every possible clan except Nosferatu (can't figure out how to do it without violating the masquerade) without incident.

Can a lazy graphic card be the problem?... cause mine isn't what the game requires. I thought that would only effect the graphic.. ehm.. and "appearance" (sorry, bad english) :S

Probably not....it wouldn't crash everytime then....

I would do a clean reinstall and update to 1.2 then start anew....sometimes the script seems to make some quests impossible.

You could try an earlier save game, do the quest again and see what happens before installing the game anew...

I have rarely crashed while playing this game but, of the 3 or 4 times I have, 2 were while doing something in Club Confession.

I'd reinstall, reload an earlier save, then turn all vid, sound, etc. options off and try again.

I was affraid I would have to reinstall everything.. :( I don't want to do everything all over again since I already had to do so when I reinstalled Windows recently.

Ah well... Thank you all for your support :)

Maybe you said this already but have you gone on to do other missions and then maybe come back to talk to her say... maybe in the final chapters of the game and see what happens?

I'm pretty sure you first have to do Larry's "Traffik" quest, and then he asks you to help Venus.

You should do so well as to be sucked into the engine of some evil Sith Lord, you know.

First time through Bloodlines I never did any quests for Phat Larry but helped and completed all the ones Venus asked me to take care of. Only later like when I was in china town that I went back to Down Town, bought the axe from Larry and he mentioned me doing that errand for him...

You don't - you can kill the Russians - or Venus - before you ever talk to Larry.

I did.

Downtown

whenever I get Downtown, I do the hospital, then Strauss, then Last Round, Confession and Skyline in that order - after burgling Skyline, I then go to Larry and sell him the gear. it is only on the second conversation, if you have tooled up, that he'll spot you are a gun for hire and offer you the job.

Traffik is actually quite a difficult mission - there are so many perps armed with ranged weapons that unless you have developed your character, you will die pretty early.

sneaking works well, but so does being a gunship. my gangrel really enjoyed trying all my new powers - and that is another beaty of Traffik - you have a large environment in which to practice techniques under enough pressure to make it a challenge, but not impossible.
