for people just starting this game or replaying it, i found a way to get your strength exp. up pretty quick. while you are in the guild, training, go up the spiral stairs and hit maize with your stick. He will say "I may have saved your life once boy..." just hit A and keep hitting him. you can get about 30 exp points in about 10 sec.
