I am fighting at Vyserad castle and I made it to the boss. If I use ranged weapons on him, he always heals up, so that does not work. If I fire fireballs at him, I run out of blood and that does not work. Even if I steal his blood with the spell, until I cannot do it anymore, that also does not help.
I've tried melee, ranged combat, and weapons. I noticed there is a rock that is near the huge double doors where one enters to fight him and that he cannot go any further. No matter what I do, I always lose. Even when I summon ghouls and others to help, they do not make much of a difference.....
Any ideas?

Ah the Vozhd. They look much tougher than they really are. If you have the spell "Storm of Fire" it shouldn't be any trouble at all. Just stand outside the door where it's safe, and unleash hell from above. After somewhat 10-15 times the Vozhd will be toast. Don't forget to uncheck your coteriemembers, or they will charge in and only get themselves killed.
Another way, probably even easier, is using the spell "Prison of Ice". The Vozhd won't be able to move for a few seconds, so your coteriemembers will have all the time to cut him up nicely. Repeat casting the spell once it wears off, and it will be like taking candy from a baby.

At this point in the game, they are very tough. I usually beat him by using a combination of celerity and offensive distant disciplines (such as what Legend mentions. I remember Call Lightening being effective). If the monster gets a hold of you or your party members for too long, you're dead. If you're having continued troubles, you might use Walk of the Abyss to exit and pick up some more blood and spend experience. The other thing I found out was that the monster can't actually fit through the door you came in, so while its a bit cheesy, you can use that to your tactical advantage if need be.

Og gosh, it is easy! You have to buy lots of arrows and crossbow in Vienna just before You go back to Prague and give it Wilhelm or Serena. Before You enter the room with Vozhd, You take the arrows and change the sword for the crossbow. Next, stand in front of the door where Vozhd lives and kill him with arrows all the time, so You even don't have to use blood etc. Arrows are expensive when You must buy lots of them, but You shouldn't care about it, because in London, You lose earned money.
I apologise for the bad English
