Best BG movie?

Post by sigurd »

Alright, which movie was the best?

My choice is the opening movie in BG1, Sarevoks evil cant be comparable!
I did like the ending in BG2 with Irenicus too, it will be second place)

It should be noted that i only made the game without becoming a god, so i didnt see those movies (dont tell a lot about them please)
Sigurd, Crazed Cleric of Talos, Servant of Evil.

My favorite movie has got to be the Planescape Torment one where Nameless picks up that awesome 4 bladed axe and the words "what can change the nature of a man" is wistled across the wind whist he joins the battle down below.

I rather liked the introduction to ToB myself.

The end of BG2 was also impressive, it was as if they wanted to show what they could do when they were freed from doing flyby's.

Present: The Broken Hourglass

It's between BG1 opening and P:T's end.
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

The movie that impressed me the most was the BG1 movie of beregrost. You saw a little cottage, and a woman doing the laundry or something and a little girl playing in the field next to the house. When the girl disappeared from the picture, a kobold made it's very foreboding appearance, an illustration of the evil that lurked in the area and was about the be unleished upon the innocent.

I think the first time I saw that movie I had not encountered a kobold yet. It looked pretty fearsome to me..

The best movie is the Siege of Saradush! I also like the ToB beginning, with the sword flying through the air. Thats so cool.

Isn't that movie with the the kobolds in Nashkel?

Not really a movie but the epilogue texts of all your companions. When I first read them a shiver ran down my neck.

The Wyvern carrying the cow in BG1 was pretty cool.

My vote goes to the PS:T trailer on the BG:TotSC CD.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
