I'm not necessarily advocating multiple threads replete with mindless spam.
But, I would like to point out that the entire origin and creation of SYM *is* founded on the spam that was occurring in the BG2 Forum about 4 years ago.
As long as it is creative and has a level of wit or intelligence motivating it, I really don't get the problem.
For several months now we have been seeing a chorus (often by newer members who are unfamiliar with the history of this place) moaning and carping about "spam," and "post farming."
I don't like mindless stupidity (i.e posts where members feel the need to screech spam at the top of their lungs like a collection of baboons who have just discovered the remains of a safari picnic)... However, for crying out loud people, this is not a damn conference or some such. It is a forum whose very origins lie in banter and fun. At the very least, it has almost always had a balance of threads ranging from the very serious to the comic and absurd.
