Where did I foul it up? [Aerie Romance]

Post by polaris »

I am trying another game with an Inquisitor (since that is a favorite of many), and for a change of pace, I decided to do the Aerie Romance....and I think I fouled it up. [I prefer Viconia or Jaheira normally so I don't know what I did wrong.]

I got to the point where Aerie offered to sleep with me, and being a Paladin, I turned her down graciously....and on the next lovetalk message, she said I was right to wait and that we would get together after Irenicus is beaten.

As it stands, the Romance value is at 2 (not 3 so I am guessing it is still active), and her lovetalk is at 49....but SHE IS NO LONGER TALKING TO ME! GRRR....

Any help or pointers would be appreciated. What did I do wrong?

49 is the highest LoveTalk value for Aerie, there are no more romance dialogue after that. The romance will continue in ToB.

Thanks Sabre, I needed to know that. I guess I am used to the more complicated Viconia and Jaheira romances.

I have a questions, is there any way you can have those people in your party, and not piss everyone off, I mean it gets to a point where you only get a choce to say something extream. and your 1/2 scareed one of them will leave.

I guess Baldurdash will have a multi-romance patch...

I have had all three ladies in the same party before (makes for /interesting/ side conversations, let me tell you!) without losing any. As long as other factors don't intervence (like reputation), all three will stay. At some point you will have to pick, and the losers will visibly sulk and *****, but that is all.

Heh, after some time any two ladies will start an argument and you'll be forced to choose sides. If there was any way to avoid those specific dialogues, you wouldn't need any patches. The scripts do not continually check whom you're romancing.
