Console help

I am done with my first play through and I am wanting to use the console to get some nice xp up front with my second character. I can open it ok and the commands work fine; the problem I am having is that when I close the console to continue playing I can't move around. The while arrow cursor stays on the screen and I can't seem to get rid of it. What key or combination of keys do I need to hit in order to continue playing. Thanks ^_~

Typically, hit the escape key (Esc) twice and you should regain control. Failing that, try left-clicking. The console is a bit dicy. In general, you should only close it by clicking on the X in the upper-right corner. If you don't do that, you sometimes wind up with a 'captured' mouse pointer, which is what you are describing.
