Where can I find Barab ore ingot??

they say on this site that for pure power you need the barab ore ingot crystal but I can't find it anywhere except if I used a cheat wich I don't want to. And what about Hurrikaine? Can it be found in the game to??

Believe both crystals to be of the marvelous 'random' variety. I've gone through the game three times now, and yet to see either one via store or corpse. Sorry. Happy gaming!

yea those two crystals are VERY rare...Ive only got the Hurrikane once and it was in some rubble on korribon...never got that other one.

THe barab ore ingot I tend to find most often in Freedon Nadd's tomb (hehe...I said "nad."). When you use the computer terminal to open the ancient boxes beside them (reminds me of a girl I used to date...she had an anci-...oh, never mind).

Thanks for the info to bad there isn't a particular spot where the damn thing can be found over and over again.

I wouldn't mind the randomization so much, if you could eventually get any and all of the items and crystals at a store. That way you could pick and choose the items you actually want, and sell off the ones you don't. If you happen to pick up the item off a corpse, then that saves you credits. But if you want the item, you should be able to purchase it somewhere.

And the randomization usually doesn't fit the item with the victim. Last night in the JekkJekk Tar, I slayed a Gand, and picked up Mandalorian Heavy Armor. Doesn't make much sense to me.

The Barab Ore Ingot is defective in the PC version of the game. It says it does 2-16 damage but it really only does 2-12. I don't know if it did full damage on the Xbox version. It's still a very good crystal, but it lost a lot of its luster. I don't know why they did that. Either way, it's an annoyance.

When I used the cheat for barab ore ingot (only because I couldn't find the damn thing) I did indeed noticed that barab ore ingot isn't that powerfull as it says. Hurrikaine is actually much more stronger than barab because of this defective or maybe even without it's still stronger.
