1-Dominate skill while talking with the charachters
2-Sharpest looking vampire
3-Easy blending with the kindred
4-Bertram Tung+Jack say good things about the ventrue
5-The prince Lacroix is also a ventrue ( I guess this will depend on a point of view)
6-You are a total snob ( can't drink from rats etc... ) but everybody respects you.
7-Ask all the other NPC's in the game about the Ventrue clan. Nobody calls you a lunatic, or pretty boy.The slang you hear the most is "blue blood". Well you are.Don't mingle with the peasants.
8-Using dominate skill "mass suicide" while fighting. I killed 8 people from 9 in the professor quest, and fed on the 9th to increase the blood. It took me about- maybe 10 seconds to clear the whole floor.
9-In the character sheet, the male looks the most confident when you compare with the other clans.
10-Even if you are poor, you look loaded, doesnt help much in the game , but in real life, you are a real player that way baby
10 good reasons to be a ventrue

Good points, I was planning on playing Ventrue on my next game through, so far been Tremere and Malkavian. I never fed from rats anyway but really like getting my hands on blue blood packs. Ventrue and Malkavians seem to have the same skills though, Dominate and Dementation. Both have mass suicide.
So as a wealthy powerhungry Ventrue, you still start out with an empty wallet? dang.

Flexible - trance lets you sneak (as does dementation for the Malkavian), but there is no doubling up of the discipline effects.
Dominate gives a ranged offensive discipline.
Presence and Fortitude give a very good defensive combination when up close and personal.
So although disciplines are all not unique to the Ventrue, they are an interesting mix.
PS, and I think (although I may be wrong) that you get blue blood packs in your second haven, rather than normal blood packs.

You do get blue blood packs. I think in both havens, actually.
Ventrue do have a very good discipline combinatioin. Presence and Fortitude make them, perhaps, the best defensive clan in the game. Likewise, Dominate is simply a hugely useful discipline (I found it much more useful than the very comparable Dementation) in mass fire fights. Though, its less useful in boss fights.
Ventrue are a solid clan in Bloodlines. Still, you have to embrace the aristocratic snob imagine a bit, and realize that your clan is largely made up of vampire like LaCroix.....
Out of curiosity, when does Jack say anything nice about Ventrue? If memory serves, he says less than ideal things about the clan in reference to LaCroix. (Heh. At the same token, I'm not sure if Tung's endorsement is really something that makes me want to play the clan...)

Actually, once as a Gangrel I fed off a bum in Hollypaper and started hoovering bloody chunks all over the sidewalk. It must have been a really bum bum to make a Gangrel give it up. It's kind of interesting watching your own PC vomit.

Couldn't have said it better Faust.
You really have to embrace that aristrocratic snob image.
After you play the game for a long time, when they give you a job that requires that you have to go through that sewers you just start thinking
"Wha..? .Again.? ..What am I...A Nosferatu ?I am a ventrue for god sake.... "
And you dont mind LaCroix after a while, as you would be doing the same things if you were in his position
From a role-play POV I don't think you *have* to embrace the snob in you to be a Ventrue. I haven't played PnP Masquerade but from what I gathered in Bloodlines, Ventrue always select their progeny from the well-to-do set- bankers, stock-marketeers, professors that kind of person. Given that your charcter was just some ragamuffin that your sire picked up in a bar when they fancied a bit of rough, you could be anyone you want surely? To me the idea of a sneered-at Ventrue kid making it big with the anarchs is pretty good.

Slumming it
Who would EVER feed off tramps and rats?
Clearly, Ventrue are an elite within an elite. I like the way my maid makes sure that my refrigerator is stocked with blue blood. Ghoul, she may be, but she keeps my pad tidy and my bed warm.
Being an Anarch does not mean that one has to forego good manners. Loyalty to ones friends is a Code, as is noblesse oblige. Jack and Nines can't last forever and when they are gone - LA will do things MY way. i.e. with style and without any SOBs telling them what to do other than to do it well.
"Government through self-discipline education and opportunity" that is my campaign slogan. With Heather gone and Venus a mortal - it's a toss up whether VV or Damsel gets to be my PA.
Vote me LA Baron of the Anarchs - you know it makes sense.

"All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players"
Sad thing is after you complete the VV quests for her, she disapears from the club and you never see her again. But Damsel is always there and just as hot.
I've never fed of tramps or rats, I even payed off a tramp to leave me alone lol.
Even though I told the Anarchs I was on their side, I still ended up being Camarilla through the rest of the game, though in the end I chose Anarch and walked out of the tower. My next time through with my Malk I'm going to try and pick the loner route.
