Question for Experienced KoTOR players...(SPOILERS!)
alright, since this is directed to people who have played both games countless times, i'm not going to waste time explaining every little detail. you know how throughout KoTOR2 NPC's ask you questions/state something in order to get your answer into how you played the last game, for continuity purposes? (like when Atton says "she" for revan, where you can say "no revan's a guy", or "yeah, she..." depending on your choice) ok, has anyone been able to note the changes in gameplay/storyline to the different MAJOR responses? like if you chose to make revan a female in KoTOR2, i doubt you'd have that scene where bastilla is waiting at the Academy (when you say revan is a guy), but Carth would still be there. the main one i was wondering about is when you find atton, and you have a choice between: "i heard revan defeated malak and united the sith" or "i heard revan saved the jedi and the republic". has anyone who has answered each in separate games noticed a difference in the story? sorry if this is sounding confusing by the way. anyway, thx in advance for your responses.

Good thread, I was about to start an identical one (hence your thread must be good )
I'm currently playing through Kotor 2 with Revan as a female darksider. In the first games I played, Revan was a female lightsider (to me, Revan is female, as is the exile, why should I look at a guy's bottom for an entire game?). I am not finished with the darkside Revan game yet, but here is the differences I have noted so far:
If Revan was lightside, Carth is an admiral in Kotor 2. If Revan was darkside, the admiral is someone named Cede.
If Revan is female lightside, Bastila doesn't appear after Carth has spoken to the Exile. As far as I know, she doesn't appear in the game at all for a female lightside Revan, except as a vision in the cave on Korriban.
If Revan is female, T3-M4 has a hidden hologram of Carth. If Revan was lightside, Carth appears in admiral's uniform and says something about Revan is planning to leave, and he tells T3-M4 to go look for help. If Revan was darkside, Carth appears in his old outfit and says that he can see Revan start to turn, but that he will try to save her. If he fails, he says, T3-M4 will have to search for help. T3-M4 implies he's dead.
If Revan was lightside, Kreia says something about the Jedi Council convinced Revan to have a change of heart. If Revan was darkside, she says something about Revan escaping the Jedi and take revenge on Malak, but stopping the campaing of conquest soon after.
If Revan was lightside, Goto (during his interrogations of the Exile) says something about Revan leaving, instead of fighting the new Sith threat. If Revan was darkside, he says that Revan stopped the campaing against the Republic. In both cases, he regrets the fact.
If Revan was lightside, Master Vandar died on Visas home planet Katarr (as I think it's named). If Revan was darkside, he died in the Star Forge battle.
If Revan was lightside, Kreia says something about Revan redeeming the ghost of Ajunta Pall. If Revan was darkside, Revan sent Ajunta Pall's spirit to oblivion.
If Revan was darkside, there is a Sith Holocron in the ruins of the Academy. There Bastila says what has happened to Revan and the Star Forge.
If Revan was female, there is a bunch of errors in the game, where she is called 'he'. These mistakes are made by the Jedi Council, Atton, Disciple and Goto, and probably many more I can't recall. I don't know if the converse is true.

good stuff Heksefatter. thankyou for the reply. just out of curiosity, do you like answering all those questions in the darkside manner and then playing darkside, or do you like going against the grain, and answering one way and playing the other? i've tried doing both to notice any differences in story/gameplay, but i haven't noticed anything serious.

Well, to me, neither the Exile and Revan were entirely light or entirely dark. My Revan started out as a darksider, but ended - just barely - as a lightsider, while the Exile did both good and bad things for most of the game (she was rather bad in the 'little' things, but supported the Republic whenever it really needed her). But in current Kotor II game, where Revan is dark, the Exile has become entirely light, as a reaction.
And no. There is no serious changes to the game from Revan's alignment, as far as I have seen.
