Black Market Quest (spoiler)

Post by Ergophobia »

I'm having trouble completing this quest, when I've sided with Czerka. I cannot seem to persuade the Ithorian at the hangar entrance to let me in, even though I have a pretty acceptable persuade level. (around 15) Is this supposed to happen?

isn't the czerka lady supposed to give you some ithorian papers after you teamed up with them? show it to that guy and he lets you in!

Hmm... never knew that. I'll try it out, thanks.

[edit: doesnt seem to work... all I can talk about is what she has to say about the Ithorian complaints. Maybe I'm too late already? (left the planet for Nar Shaddaa already)]

I dunno if that's it, but she is supposed to give you Ithorian credentials. It should work, though; when you go to the hangar to get the droid and are attacked by by those guys, you get the blaster that initiates the quest. You have the option of leaving the droid in the hangar, and you can show the blaster to Grenn, and then you can get the quest from the Duro. That should leave the hangar open for you. But in my last game, I sided with Czerka, and I had no trouble whatsoever getting in and out of the Ithorian hangar, even after I'd left the planet and returned. I didn't even have to consult the Ithorian standing watch at the hangar door, it was still wide open.

Your supposed to talk to the Ithorians as well, then you get the option to lie to them and can lie to him about being let in.

It's no use... ah well, that's something to try next time, I suppose.

I just re-did that quest, but instead of doing any of the side-quests for the Black Market deal, I went to Lt. Grenn. He GIVES you all the items you're supposed to give to the Duros, and then he'll go to the hangar to catch the deal in the act and arrest him.
