Can't get past the watcher for Tomb of Souls

I have the pass phrase but the game wont let me say it to get past the watcher...any ideas? Also I went and kicked some Naga butt and got the eye of the sigil but then went back through Skuldoon without going to talk to that person in a tower and now I can't get back into the Forbidden Lands until I do some quest for Vargaath in Skuldooon which requires me to go to the Tomb of Souls and the Vale of Ruin...I'm assuming the way to the vale is through the Tomb of Souls...anybody done this yet?

hi,
quite same stuff here... cant make up my mind what to do next cuz all the missions direct to an unknown place.
anyways, you should be able to get back to forbidden lands... just find the little dudes near the gate (if this is ur problem). They're a bit slo-mo but eventually they let u pass. bout this phrase... just started thinking if these stoneguys are the wachers?!?!

GAME REALLY NEEDS SOME AUPGRADES! -all the guys there talk a lot of s**t but never say where's the place u should be going to... really pisses me off...

ok. i had the phrase too. i reckon that bit is a bug, as even though you have the phrase, you can't get in until see grymlock, and unlock his mind (have you spoken to staroxia? you need to to do this)

after speaking with grymlock, you can get to vale of ruin. after going there you can place the blood on the unholy arc, speak to the succubus, and onlyu THEN can you get in to the tomb.

MAKE SURE you read the posts on this forum and typhoon games forum about placing the blood on the unholy arc. there is a poor bit of code in there (like in the rest of the game <G>) that screws things up fo a LOT of people (me included for a while).

TIP: save often and use multiple saves.
in regards to the tomb of souls, once you're in the vale of ruin you'll have to find the unholy arc and place a vial on the alter. before you place the vial there, be sure to save your game. often the flying messenger gets stuck while flying to you.

if u like have a sec there... maybe u could be more specific bout these guys??? till now i've done quests according to the log... have a feeling that never heard bout them.... where they are and what do they do?

and where is vale of ruin?
